In Homerville Georgia, an 18-year-old black male was found publicly hanging from a tree in front of a motel. Bryant was found in front of a motel in Homerville early last Saturday morning. The Homerville police department has ruled the Incident of suicide. The motel had 6 cameras, but management says none were working. Police deemed the hanging a suicide without interviewing any witnesses.

The family says Omari Bryant was not suicidal. Friends, family and community leaders are calling for an independent investigation into the “suspicious” hanging of a Black teenager. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is conducting an autopsy on Bryant to determine the exact cause of death. However, the top law enforcement department in the state will not be investigating Bryant’s death. The lawyers representing Bryant’s family were calling for the GBI to get involved.
👑: Something don’t sit right in my spirit about this. I believe there is more to this situation. Get active and contact the Homerville police department. Demand a full investigation.
