A MOTHER SAYS SHE WAS SHOVED TO THE GROUND BY A FAMILY DOLLAR STORE CLERK AFTER RETURNING A ITEM SHE PURCHASED TO COOK A DINNER FOR MOTHERS DAY.
‼️Please share this. Justice for this mother.‼️
Dear Tory Lowe,
My name is Brenda Williams. On May 09, 2020 at 10:15 a.m. I went to Family Dollars here in New London Wisconsin. I live in London, Wisconsin which is about a hour and a half away from Milwaukee. I went to return a pan I had purchased because after I got home I realized I was over charged. When I went to return the pan I told the manger that I had been over charged, and believed that the pan was only a dollar due to the placement of the item on a self that said one dollar.
I said y’all need to start putting items in the right place. We wouldn’t have this problem. Before I knew it this white manager grabbed me, and push me down. He said you people are not going to do me like what happened in Georgia where a Family Dollar employee was shot because he asked a black customer to wear a mask. Then I got back on my feet and said I’m not a violence person because I’m black. I don’t carry a gun. I’m going to call the police. I called the police.
They took his word over mine. It was only the store manager and myself. The manager told police that there was no cameras in the store. So I insisted in pressing charges and police gave both of us fines. I am hurt and embarrassed. I bought the pan to cook myself a Mother’s Day dinner. I truly feel that this store manager broke the law by shoving me to the ground and I want justice to be served.

👑: This is becoming more common. Racist people are becoming more hostile towards African Americans and the police are assisting these hate-driven reactions. We as a community have to rise up against this devilish behavior. Please share this post and bring awareness. Thank God this mother is still alive this Sunday on Mothers Day. I’m asking every one to call Corporate office 1-800-547-0359 and ask for a full investigation.
