THE FAMILY OF TYRESE WEST RELEASE PICTURE OF HIM AFTER POLICE INVOLVED SHOOTING.
The family of 18-year-old Tyrese West, the teenager shot and killed by a Mount Pleasant Police officer on June 15, is seeking evidence in West’s death. West’s body was released to the family, and that West’s body has multiple gunshot wounds, including two to the head.
I saw the two shots to the head myself. If they were trying to resuscitate him, how could they do that if he has two shots to the brain?”
At about 1:35 a.m. on June 15, West was riding his bike in the 2500 block of Racine Street (Highway 32) when Mount Pleasant Police officer Eric Giese attempted to stop him while riding a bicycle without headlights. The incident ended with West being fatally shot.
Although several media outlets have reported that West fired a gun at police, no law enforcement officials have made that claim. No information has been provided that indicates West was involved in any criminal behavior on the night of his death.
It remains unclear if the officer involved was wearing a body camera, which under the Mount Pleasant Police Department’s policy is encouraged but is optional at officers’ discretion.
West, who was on a bicycle, fled on foot from the officer. After a short foot pursuit, the officer claim he used ”Less-lethal” attempts to address the threat of a ”alleged” weapon which were unsuccessful, and commands issued to West were ignored. That is when, police say, lethal force was used to address the ”Alleged” threat of the uncooperative individual.”
The officer also says he used life saving measures after he shot Tyrese West execution style in the head. The officers whole story sounds fishy. Since the shooting several families have come forward, and have posted stories of unlawful behavior committed on their loved ones by officer Eric Giese. There is even circuit court documents that have been posted online exposing the officers past of unlawful behavior against citzens.
Tyrese West has been demonized by the media in reports about the incident. The Racine Police Department, nor the Mt. Pleasant Police Department has reached out to the family. The Racine police department is handling the investigation. We want Justice for Tyrese West.

My heart goes out to the family Amen. The death of Tyrese West only let us know that time is winding up bottom line. Even though it was horrible, God still is in charge of life and death. We must continue to pray and love one another, and live right so we’ll know where our souls will be going. Through it all find a space to tell the Lord thank you. My Grandson was Physically, Mentally and Sexually abused by his father and Paternal grandmother! For 10yrs. They had him eating his own feces. He was taken from his father after repeatedly running away and CPS continuing to return him back in the abusers hands. They were suppose to give him therapy. Never happened. He is now being beaten and abused where he us @ now and CPS is still covering up!! They are talking about returning him to the dad. When I got this child in 2016-2017 he could not control his bowels or urine!! No charges have been brought against the father or his mother!!
The CPS supervisor has issues and lies consistantly and needs to be removed from the case. The Guardian Adlitem in 2006 (Olivia Wong) changed medical letter Dr. Donna Schmidt wrote telling the judge to have the FATHER’S visits supervised. She changed it to the mother. The reason I know the doctor told me she gave Olivia Wong the letter. The Judge and Wong and social worker Karissa Phinesee all knew Corey Moye had been in Mental Complex several times for his behavior. Even his mom put him away and they kept that info from us!! Gave the child to a man with known mental issues!!
Now the child needs help and they DON’T want to give it to him and the mother can’t see the child w/o supervision and she has done nothing to ever harm him!! She took drug test for years and was ALWAYS clean!!

Wow. That’s Crazy! Prayers for the Family, for their perceived loss and flood of hateful comments towards their loved one. My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, ‘If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.’. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- ‘Don’t ever smoke. Please don’t put your family through what your Grandfather put us through.” I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because reading through this family’s conspiracy theories gave me cancer anyway.

This cop life needs to end it could went a whole different way. This white racist pig new what he was doing and that was to kill a young black man. This baby was on a bike. I understand the cop stopping him for a no light on the bike but, how did he approach him, what made him run. I bet any kind of money this cop said som6that scared him off they always do. I hope he gets what he deserves he don’t deserve to live on earth. Someone needs to end his life.

Really, a baby on a bike. He had a damn gun! I’m so sick of the criminals becoming the victims and the cops the criminals. How was he approached, really. He was a kid out late at night with a flippen gun. He didn’t ran. He is 100% to blame. Quit playing the race cars. How about criminals quit breaking the law. How about when they do, stop when a cop says stop. This works is disgusting. A cop can’t do their jobs anymore or at least when it comes to black people.
