I am the aunt of 16 year old Deandre Isom Jr. who was hit by a car yesterday morning between 27th and 28th and Vine at about 6:45am. He was walking his siblings to their bus stop. Suddenly a car came and hit him. He did get his siblings across the street, but he did not make it!!!! My nephew is fighting for his life right now. The only thing that the detective said was its up to the DA to charge the driver that hit him!!! This woman can not get away with this, and she wont I promise that!!! And Tory with all of your help I know my nephew will get the justice he deserves!!! We want and to let the community know what happened to Deandre. Please keep him in y’all prayers right now. He is in horrible conditions right now.
