This is a pic of disgraced Hollywood producer and alleged sexual abuser Harvey Weinstein. Harvey Weinstein is currently facing trail on sexual abuse and rape. Weinstein is expected to appear in court on June 3rd. He is facing charges of forcibly performing oral sex on a production assistant in 2006 and raping a woman in a Manhattan hotel room in 2013. If convicted, he faces life in prison.
Oprah has recently choose to interview alleged victims who say they were sexually abused by Michael Jackson in a recently produced documentary called “Leaving Neverland”. One of the alleged victims was a witness on the behalf of Michael Jackson during trial. Claim Michael had never touched him. Many are upset with Oprah for allowing this to happen on her platform.
I personally feel that while Michael Jackson was alive he was found not guilty of the allegations brought against him so why dig up a dead man, and try to defame his character and he can’t defend himself. I’m not for sexual abuse or any type of abuse period but what I hate even more is when people falsely use the idea of rape and sexual abuse to bring someone down.
Now Oprah who is a known victim and advocate for victims of sexual abuse and molestation should have not got involved in the “Leaving Neverland” publicity stunt against a man that has passed away and can not fight for himself. Oprah has a man who she is close to name Harvey Weinstein who is alive currently on trail for all the things she is suppose to be standing against.
We living in the time of public pressure and social media claims with absolutely no evidence. I’m not saying Michael Jackson was a saint. What I’m saying they did not produce the evidence needed to convict him while he was alive. Why is your focus on Michael when you got a whole alleged “Rapist” Harvey Weinstein alive and currently on trial.
This is a very sensitive subject but let us not be apart of the circus and see that Michael was found not Guilty while he was alive now he is guilty in death. Sad.
