Tory Lowe posted to Facebook:

In 2011 I came back home to Milwaukee, Wisconsin after dealing with a federal discrimination and hate crime incident in the state of Minnesota. At that time God put it in my spirit to help the people in my hometown. I was hesitant at first because I couldn’t see how. I even attempted to move to Houston, Texas, but while I was visiting there looking around I became stricken with pains in my back, arms, and legs. Once I got back to Milwaukee the pain just went away. I decided then that I would just be obedient to God’s will.

I look back over the years and think only God could have given me the platform I have today. I wasn’t a part of any group, political party, or organization. I had no funding, no support from any elected officials, and never took one penny from the 1000’s of people that I have assisted over the years.

For the past 5 years I have been the most requested advocate in the state of Wisconsin. I have also traveled to Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, St. Louis, Iowa and Minnesota to personally help families in need. Through social media I was able to bring great awareness to many situations across the country. I currently have close to 54,000 subscribers on Facebook who help bring attention to issues the news might overlook.

Dealing with the needs of the people has been a humbling experience. I have been shot at, criticized, black balled, hated, lied on, defamed, and plotted against for helping the people in my own community. My life has been threatened by blacks and whites for the stance I have taken on behalf of the people. I have gone without and sacrificed my own safety and well-being for the mission. I’d be lying if I said this is what I wanted to do with my life lol. I was not called, I was CHOSEN.

I’d like to personally thank everyone who has supported me with your prayers, love and encouraging words over the years. I would also like to thank my Facebook family for helping me to spread awareness, assisting families, and helping those in need. Without y’all none of this is possible. You are appreciated! Please continue to do whatever you can to support the mission. The goal is to continue to bring change by any means necessary.

Yesterday I announced my first human and civil rights group in the state of Wisconsin. The Justice Wisconsin Advocacy Group is a top notch Independent diverse organization designed to protect our rights and service the people of this generation. Please go to JusticeWisconsin.com for more details. I’m also asking all of the people that follow me and believe in the work being done to make a small donation towards this effort to make our communities safe.
