A MILWAUKEE CANDIDATE FOR USA TODAY HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL MIDWEST PLAYER OF THE YEAR IS SHAMED AT BASKETBALL GAME BY WHITE PARENTS AND STUDENTS FROM PORT WASHINGTON HIGH SCHOOL
Jalen Johnson was recently shamed at a high school basketball game against Port Washington high school. The Nicolet high school basketball star is know as “Mr. Tripple Double” and is currently second place in the voting for the Midwest player of the year. I’m asking everyone that is outraged to go and vote for Jalen and show this crowd that we will not let you shame or bully our children.
The original picture being discussed is of Jalen Johnson face in a spa mask. Many people who are defending the actions of the crowd are saying it was just a ploy to distract and taunt Jalen during the game. But Jalen Johnson shared tweets about the controversy to his Twitter page, writing, “UNACCEPTABLE🤬🙅🏽♂️” The underlying tweet he shared from someone else had stated, “This is ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE! The Entire WI community should be appalled at this Garbage! The parents of those students should ashamed of themselves for this!”
Trust me these students and parents from Port Washington High School knew exactly what they was doing when they recently choose to shame Milwaukee’s Jalen Johnson a high school basketball star who is currently second in the voting for USA Today Midwest high school basketball player of the year award.
The atmosphere of racism towards Milwaukee black student athletes has been shown on many other occasions especially when the athlete is dominating figure. Last year the Washington High School basketball team players face a racially charged atmosphere at the state tournament. When is the WIAA going to take accountability for this behavior at the games putting students at risk.
Go vote! Jalen Johnson from Milwaukee help “Mr. Triple Double” win Midwest player of the year. He is in the Midwest category.
