A MOTHER SAYS THAT WEST ALLIS POLICE BEAT HER SON UNCONSCIOUS AFTER POLICE RESPONDED TO A ANONYMOUS 911 CALL

On April 23, 2017 West Allis police used excessive force beating and using their tasers on my son Antoine Baskin Jr. In their words “because he ran and we weren’t as fast as him we used tasers. My son attempted to flee because they approached him and his friend very aggressively. This was due to an anonymous 911 call they received about 2 suspicious young males walking southbound on s. 77th st. and orchard. The 911 call wasn’t specific as to why they were suspected. The boys were minding their business going to a friend’s house.
When the officers approached them they were afraid for their lives so they ran. At that time there was lot of police shootings of black males and they panicked. His friend did in fact run but they did not chase him. His friend was not black… Before my son could run they tased him twice once in the back of the head and once in his back.
They claim they didn’t have body cam footage, so we really don’t know exactly what happened. He was arrested and after his release I took him to the the hospital and doctors confirmed that he had been dragged. They said that him falling from being tased couldn’t of caused the scrapes on his face and both wrists. His tooth was knocked out from the root and he had a cut over his left eye causing it to stay closed for 2 days.
He’s been traumatized for almost 2 years behind this. West allis police didn’t have to beating him while he was unconscious, and I suspect they did so while he was unconscious because he does not know how he sustained those injuries. The police report did not state that he posed any threat to them or did anything for them to approach him. This was based on an anonymous 911 call.
Why police continue to beat or kill our young black men??? This has to stop.
